Florian Klohn is an economist and works as a data analyst in the field of information management at GWQ ServicePlus AG, where he carries out analyzes focusing on evaluation, data mining and prediction for public health insurance companies. Among other things, he has examined the role of drug discount agreements within the Morbi-RSA and is currently working on issues of health care management and real-world evidence with routine health care data. After completing his training as a banker, Mr. Klohn studied economics at the Ruhr-Universität Bochum and worked as a research fellow at the Technische Universität Darmstadt und the Universität Duisburg-Essen. As part of his doctoral thesis, he researched empirical issues in health economics and published in peer-reviewed journals such as Insurance: Mathematics and Economics and European Journal of Health Economics on topics such like risk selection in health insurance and demography-related spending effects.
