TUGBA AKSAKAL

Tugba Aksakal studied Health Communication (Bachelor) and Interdisciplinary Media Science (Master) in Bielefeld. During her studies, she initially worked as a research assistant at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the UniversitätBielefeld in a project on "rehabilitation and migration" (VeReMi project). In 2016 she worked as a research fellow in a project on the subject of "diversity-sensitive rehabilitation" at the Technische Universität Chemnitz  and the Univerität Bielefeld. Since April 2018, Ms Aksakal has been working on a project to "promote the self-management skills of caregivers" at the Universität Bielefeld. In addition, she has been a research fellow at the Universität Witten/Herdecke since November 2018. At the Department of Health Services Research, she is involved in various projects, mainly on the topic of needs-based and needs-based healthcare through the consideration of diversity.
