How can we get better? Global learning and local acting in health services research

Eva Rosenfeld is a research fellow in health services management in the Referat für Gesundheit und Umwelt in the Landeshauptstadt München. Before joining the local health department, she studied oecotrophology and epidemiology at the Universities of Bonn and Rotterdam and worked as a research assistant at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München as well as in the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Ernährung, Landwirtschaft und Forsten. Aim of the medical care management is to contribute to the monitoring of the health services situation in the outpatient, day-patient and in-patient sctors in Munich. In addition, further analyzes are carried out to describe needs shortages and their causes. In the case of undesirable developments, tailor-made measures should be designed and implemented in cooperation with the Munich health care institutions. A focus of her current work is the situation of health services during ​​pregnancy and around the birth.
