Dr. CHRISTOPH STRUMANN

Dr. Christoph Strumann has been working as a research associate at the Institut für Allgemeinmedizin at the University Medical Center Schleswig-Holstein, Campus Lübeck since 2018 (Director Prof. Dr. Jost Steinhäuser). There he researches and habilitates on health economics topics of primary care. One focus is the scientific evaluation of the telemedical model project docdirekt of the Kassenärztliche Vereinigung Baden-Württemberg (regional Association of SHI-Physicians Baden-Württemberg). He studied economics at the Christian-Albrechts-Universität (CAU) Kiel until 2009, where he received his doctorate in 2013 for methods of spatial econometrics as well as the impact of per-case flat rates on competition and the efficiency of hospitals. From 2014 to 2016, he researched and taught as a research assistant at the  Lehrstuhl für Technologiemanagement at CAU in the field of Health Care Management. From 2016 to 2017 he worked at the University of Lübeck as a technology scout in the context of start-up consulting.
