Prof. Dr. REINHARD BUSSE

Prof. Dr. med. Reinhard Busse is University Professor of Management in Health Care at the Technische Universität Berlin, faculty member of the Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and co-director of the European Observatory on Health Systems and Policies. Since 2011 he has also been editor-in-chief of the international peer-reviewed journal "Health Policy" and since 2012 head of the BMBF-funded Health Economic Center Berlin (BerlinHECOR). His research focuses on health system research, especially in European context, on the conflict field of market and regulation as well as performance assessment, health services research (remuneration mechanisms, integrated care, role of nursing staff), health economics and health technology assessment (HTA).
