Dr. ANNIKA STEFFEN, MSc (Epi)

Dr. PH Annika Steffen, MSc (Epi), has been Research Associate at the Department of Regional Health Care Analyses & Health Care Atlas at the Central Research Institute for Ambulatory Health Care in the Federal Republic of Germany (Zentralinstitut für die kassenärztliche Versorgung in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, Zi) since 2017. Her work focuses on epidemiological analyses of health care based on nationwide medical and drug prescription data. Dr. Steffen is an ocotrophologist and epidemiologist (MSc) and has a doctorate in Public Health at the TU Berlin. Until 2017, Dr. Steffen worked as a research fellow in nutritional and cancer epidemiology at the German Institute for Nutrition Research (Deutsches Institut für Ernährungsforschung) in Potsdam-Rehbrücke and investigated the relationship between diet, lifestyle and the occurrence of chronic diseases in prospective population studies.
